Brutio – Barone di Bolaro

Brutio is produced with 70% Nerello Calabrese and 30% Sangiovese grapes, cultivated on the Calabrian hills, between 250 and 450 metres of altitude. The vines exposed to the Calabrian sun acquire the particular characteristics that characterise this exceptional Calabrian red. Harvested late, to obtain the maximum concentration, the grapes are placed under long fermentation.

The fermentation and maturation process is passed in small oak barrels. The particular methods used during production gives this wine a full red colour, intense, achieving elegant and noble tannins. Well suited to red meats, grilled meats, salami and aged cheese. Serve at the temperature of 18°C, Brutio will gift you strong emotions and will satisfy even the most demanding palate.
