"Piparelle" is the name of a typical biscuit of Reggio Calabria. It is a traditional sweet made with almonds, honey and spices, and is historically tied to the Strait City, where from the early twentieth century it is produced thanks to the dedication and the search for skillful pastry makers thanks to their passion they have created this tasty product. It is a Dry dessert, ideal in combination with the "Passed wine" Kalavrìa I.G.T. White Calabria Barone di Bolaro, but can also be enjoyed with drinks such as coffee, tea or almond milk.
Ingredients: Flour 00, shelled almond, granulated sugar, water, honey, caramelized sugar, lard, almond flour, baking soda, orange essence, cinnamon powder, cloves, salt.
